A&P Development and Construction teams with ameristar products to complete design build k-8 security fencing project for los angeles air force base fencing idiq
A&P has extensive background in security fencing projects and it shows at The Los Angeles Air Force Base. Teaming with Ameristar Products to furnish their patented impasse K-8 rated system, A&P incorporates vehicle rated architectural concrete masonry walls and vehicle crash gates to provide total security to the existing military facility.
Los Angeles Air Force Base has been under going extensive renovations and this project is no exception. A total design build project, A&P incorporated information from past security fence projects to bring design and value engineering to the customer. This project consisted of installing crash rated entrance gates that require an architectural look while achieving a K- 8 rating for total security. The high visibility high traffic project was completed on schedule with little or no impact to the customer.
Working closely with KAL Architects, A&P has brought perimeter security fencing design and build to a whole new level. Extensive civil research of as built underground utilities are mandatory with these projects as deadman/cassions are required for impact ratings and are abundant throughout the project. Aerial surveys are completed and digitally enhanced for construction as well as delivering the customer beautiful as built drawings encompassing plenty of information for future projects.
